Contemporary Music Education for the 21s

" I have been a music educator for 28 years at just about every level.  I had the opportunity to contribute one chapter to this text, and the collaboration was informative and amazing. This book, guide, the testimonial is a game-changer for every type of band program. It provides new insight to the current approach to being a band director. The book covers areas that other texts and guides do not address. If you want a new perspective on pedagogy- this is the book."

DARRELL WILLIAMS

DIRECTOR OF BANDS

LYNDON B. JOHNSON HIGH SCHOOL

AUSTIN, TEXAS

“I have been in the classroom for 20 years now. It's refreshing to have a text and workbook that has evolved with the marching arts activity. What I like most about the workbook is the ability to have an in-class resource to refer to when planning, preparing or designing. Given this past year of remote teaching and distance learning, it is easy to go through burnout. This is a rejuvenating approach to our profession and I am excited to get back to my room and my students.”
